Vacillate

:to waver in mind, will, or feeling : hesitate in choice of opinions or courses

And I am. The problem is a common one: I’ve only got a limited amount of funds available and too many things that need or want. For instance, I want an elliptical. And I want another Dachshund. Really can’t afford the Dachshund, but it’s turning into a sort of obsession.

My needs are many and all relate to the Cracker Box, a quaint euphemism I like to utilize for this house. Fortunately - with the help of Bush’s rebate - we got the roof resealed recently, so that’s taken care of. But my gosh… it needs to be painted very badly. I myself am peeling the paint off the back of the house… because you know what happens when paint starts peeling? Bugs and mold make their homes there in the loose areas.

The doors all need to be replaced; the exterior doors especially. The door hardware is falling off and they’ve all rotted around the jamb. Paints a lovely picture, eh? And there’s more.

So you see my conundrum? When there’s too much to do and not enough money to do it… overwhelming is the word that comes to mind.

Some days are good…

…and some suck.

I don’t know why I can’t seem to post anything without including a picture as well.

My head is pounding and since I indulged in some sugar laden pudding for lunch, acid reflux is the name of the latest tune being played in my esophagus. I just took Benadryl, Motrin and Mucinex in an effort to feel better.
The way I look at it, at least I’m not wearing disposable diapers yet.

A guy held the door open for me at Pet Supermarket today and for the first time in my life it felt like it was because I was old.

Not a good day.
