Feelings are energy-in-motion (or e-motion), and they create an impulse to action within us. According to The Law of the Conservation of Energy in physics, energy can neither be created, nor destroyed, but it can be changed.

Thus, negative or highly stressful emotions can be transformed into more positive and less stressful ones. If not transformed, chronic, negative feelings can cause stress-related illnesses.

The following list gives examples of possible negative feelings that can be transformed into more positive ones. Feelings can be transformed through such things as exercise.

Talking with a friend, crying, laughing, writing or drawing about your feelings.
