Less than a month ago this blog was a PR 3… but when I checked yesterday it had been slashed to a big fat goose egg. Zero.

What happened?

While looking for clues I checked my header to find… no meta tags. After I upgraded to WP 2.7 many of my plugins had to upgraded as well, including the All in One SEO Pack plugin, which is usually set to insert commonly used categories as meta tags in the header… but the settings had somehow been altered.

I corrected it, but whether that is the true reason or not, at least I’ve got the tags back…

I upgraded to WP 2.7, thus making the comments wonky. Please bear with me; I’ve contacted Jay, the wonderful theme designer and he promises to work on it! Thanks!

Coming down with a cold or something equally nauseous making… don’t feel like moving, let alone thinking…. so I filched this from Beth’s farm blog…

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Both. I actually like finding just the right paper and taking a day to wrap. Not that I’m good at it! LOL! If I’m in a hurry, there’s nothing like a gift bag!

2. Real tree or Artificial? REAL! Love the smell and buying a real tree supports the Christmas tree growers.

3. When do you put up the tree? It always varies; usually two weeks before Christmas.

4. When do you take the tree down? I’ve done it the day after Christmas because I couldn’t stand the thing being there anymore… the empty tree is just too sad… and sometimes New Year’s Eve.

5. Do you like eggnog? Of course!

6. Favorite gift received as a child? There were too many great gifts… Though poor my Mom made sure we had excellent Christmas presents. My favorite gift wasn’t at Christmas; one year for my birthday I got a pedal surrey. Loved it.

7. Hardest person to buy for? My husband… If he doesn’t have what he wants, he finds a way to quickly get it - wait for Christmas? HA! I’m always at a loss.

8. Easiest person to buy for? Tonie.

9. Do you have a nativity scene? Yes, and I want more!

10. Mail or email Christmas cards? Mail. It’s just so much more personal.

11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? I don’t remember the bad, so who knows? A piece of clothing I didn’t like?

12. Favorite Christmas Movie? It’s a tie between The Polar Express and It’s A Wonderful Life. Well, then there’s Holiday Inn… Dang.

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? This year I started in August. I’m still not finished, though.

14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? I think I probably have, but no idea what it may have been…

15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Cookies. Snickerdoodles, Ricotta cookies, just plain old cut ‘em out sugar cookies.

16. Lights on the tree? Of course!

17. Favorite Christmas song? Nope, I can’t pick. Love so many… Silent Night, O Little Town of Bethlehem, O Come All Ye Faithful, I’ll be Home For Christmas, Oh, Holy Night… and Kenny Loggins’ Celebrate Me Home. That’s Christmas to me.

18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? The only travel we do -IF we do any at all- is fairly close, then we’re home again. Jiggity Jog.

19. Can you name all of Santa’s reindeer? Almost.

20. Angel on the tree top or star? Thanks for reminding me that I need an Angel.

21. Open presents on Christmas Eve or morning? Usually Christmas morning.

22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year? People getting stressed and treating others like crap.

23. Favorite ornament theme or color? I love my Waterford snowflake collection. They really sparkle on the tree. And all the really old ornaments from long ago…

24. Favorite for Christmas dinner? Ham, baked potatoes… the usual.

25. What do you want for Christmas this year? World peace, good health for my loved ones and prayer for America. I’m not joking.

Crikey! I just twigged that I have not updated this since people stopped clapping and Tinkerbell died… You would not believe that my hands were chopped off and I was waiting for bionic ones. Stupid Global Warming!.

I am totally and utterly flat out with setting fire to people wearing Crocs, selling my soul to Google, just generally being a pain to every man and his dog, my day is filled with fluorescent light from the first cockadoodledoo from the rooster to I run out of alcohol. I am putting money aside so I can run away. I need some perspective.

I will try to remember I promised you won’t blog until the next time booze prices go up and I have to get sober for a while. Truly! Unless of course the pool with the cocktail bar is heated!.
