The Creative Dream
I’ve neglected this space, but there’s just been no time at all. When I did have a few minutes the blog wasn’t the first thing on my mind. I know you can relate; doesn’t matter who you are, life gets busy and something has to give.

Let Me Lean
WHEN I’M 100, IF I LEAN A LITTLE … LET ME!
The family wheeled Grandma out on the lawn, in her wheelchair, where the activities for her 100th birthday were taking place. Grandma couldn’t speak very well, but she could write notes when she needed to communicate.

A nephew who arrived late came up to Grandma and said, ‘Hi, Grandma, you’re looking good! How are they treating you?’
Grandma took out her little notepad and slowly wrote a note to the nephew…’They won’t let me fart.’

How I manage loss
My best friend’s Mom passed away Monday… and in mourning I turned to Crate and Barrel.
I bought a set of these glasses -a deal at 12 for 30!- and a set of sandstone coasters, also on sale.
I think my subconscious is telling me that I should be drinking my way through my grief instead of shopping. I should have ordered Martini glasses…
